Troubleshooting tips
To retrieve your serial number, go to the
Bruji support page, enter the email address you used to purchase the program and the database will automatically send you a return email with your serial number.
If you don't have access to that email address anymore or can't remember which one you used, send us an email at
support@bruji.com and we'll look up the number manually.
Always make sure you are running the latest version of the program. You can check whether you're up-to-date via the CDpedia menu > Check for Updates.
If you have the latest version of the program and encounter a crash or freeze, please send us an email to
support@bruji.com and include the following information:
- A step-by-step account
If the crash or freeze is repeatable, i.e. everytime you perform a certain action in CDpedia the program quits unexpectedly or freezes until you restart, please send us an exact account of the steps you're taking leading up to the problem and the order in which you take them. That way we can try to repeat the problem here and fix it.
- The crash report
If you already closed the report (it pops up automatically when the program unexpectedly quits) you can access it again under User/Library/Logs/CrashReporter/CDpedia.crash.log
- Console log information from CDpedia
You can access the console log via the application Console, located in Applications/Utilities. The newer messages are towards the bottom of the log. If there are any entries from CDpedia, please include them in your email.
