Blog Notifications

Post by FineWine »

I have just read your 22 December Blog post, better late than never.

Is there a way to subscribe to the Blog or be notified of a post?

My thoughts on the matter is either:
1 - A separate Tick box entry in your profile "Manage Subscriptions" Default = Tick ✓ and you get automatic email
2 - On going to the Bruji web site and if there is a new Blog post then a Red indicator appears besides the word Blog or . This indicator then clears when you go into the Blog page.

Cheers

We have to integrate all the different channels more, forum, blog, doghouse, but that is quite the undertaking.

Currently the blog has a feed that you can sign up for, but if you don't use a newsreader not quite that useful. (It used to be Mail handled this automatically, but got removed in 10.8.) But there some services that will do it automatically:

IFTTT This one is useful, as you can use your account for all kinds of automation. Name stands for "IF This Then That".
blogtrottr From a random Google search, but looks simple.

In both cases the feed URL is at https://bruji.com/blog
