You can sort the columns alphabetically by clicking on the column header. However since these particular fields are likely to have more than one language entered, the program will use whatever language comes first for the sorting, then continue to the next language, etc.

You mean the languages for a single movie should be ordered alphabetically; "Catalan, English, Spanish" instead of "English, Spanish, Catalan". Your proposal is very intriguing and appeals to my inner organizer. For the most part the main language, that in which the title is written, comes first in most sources that we get data from. I will have to bring this up at our next development meeting, e.i. dinner with the wife.

We understand, the issue we run into is that doing so means losing the information of the original language of the film (that which is listed first).

When I unload information of filmaffinity it does not give me any information about the languages.
It is necessary to put them manually and when they are great the ideal thing is that esten arranged by name.

It would be very interesting that they could be ordained.

Thank you in advance

Hi Carpanta,

We did have dinner to discuss the issue. The need to keep the information of the main language was more important than organizing alphabetically. So the programs will remain with the free language and subtitle order. However, there is no reason you can't write a plug-in to organize those fields for you alphabetically. Since this can be complicated I have done so and you can download it here. Unzip and double click or drag over DVDpedia's icon on the doc, if you have more than one Pedia, to install for DVDpedia. Then restart DVDpedia and under the Movie->Plugins menu you will have the option to alphabetize languages and subtitles for the selected entries. So you can select all your movies and then run the command.
