CD- New Version- Lost Custom Fields

When I unstalled the new version, I lost all the custom fields I had set up in Preferences. They are there when I look at previously entered CDs but they are no longer on a drop down list for new entries. How can I get them back? Thanks.

In the program preference navigate to the auto fill tab and select each custom field from the pop-up menu and use the "Rebuild" button located at the lower left. This will recreate the auto fill values from the current values in your database.
