I've read the previous helps and I feel like I'm doing everything correct. My iPod touch is connected via USB. Both computer and iPod are on the same wireless network without firewall interrupting. Pocketpedia and Bookpedia are both running. But nothing happens in my 'collections' window as expected. Any suggestions? If I don't have enough space, will it warn me or just not work... that's the only issue I can guess at this point.

Space should not be an issue, you should still be able to see the sync button on the top left. Restart your iPod Touch by holding down the power button, that work for a few users. Otherwise try a wireless network created by your computer, select your airport icon and choose the "Create Network" command, after that switch the iPod Touch in the Settings --> WiFi to the new network and try again. Using this direct connection you avoid any internal firewalls that might be running on your wireless router.
I must be doing something wrong. I followed your suggestion for restarting the ipod as well as creating the internal wireless network. But when I open pocketpedia and I'm in the 'collections' screen I see only the 'plus' on the top right to add new collections but no plus to sync. Do I need to set anything on my macbook's Bookpedia. Any suggestions?
You need the latest Bookpedia, verison 4.3.0. If you are unsure what version you have it does not hurt to get a newest version straight from our website.
Arrghh! I had downloaded the new version yet somehow I was opening the old one. Most software replaces the old version with the new but this keeps the old one around... that can be confusion to us simpletons.

Excellent news. With version 4.0 there is a self update feature, so just make sure you don't have any other older version around and the program will update itself for in future updates. If you download the program directly then it's still up to you to replace the old version via drag and drop.
