Banners on Bottom

Post by gledet »

Every now and then when I add a new movie with iSight, it comes up with a red banner on the bottom of the artwork that says " On Sale Today". What is the reason for this and how does it get there?

It means the release date for the movie is today. This happens because the site that your downloading the information from only has the release month or year so DVDpedia fills in the rest of the date with the current date. You can turn off the banner in the preferences under the styles tab.

I have it set up to show the borrower on my web page. Will this effect it by removing it in the preferences?

The preference only applies to the selected item cover view on the bottom left and the cover view (iPhoto style) of the collection.
