MacOS Sonoma

Post by SteveFitz »

There was flurry of conversation when Apple upgraded to Ventura. Now we have Sonoma. Has anyone updated their Mac to the latest software and does 'Pedia play nicely with it?

Thanks for any input prior to me updating.

I have version 6.2.1 Beta 261 of Bookpedia, CDpedia and DVDpedia in macOS 14.0 (23A344) Sonoma.

So far the apps open without any errors but I haven't done any testing beyond that and will report any issues should there be any.

Thanks Dan. I usually wait a week or two before upgrading just in case any bugs are found.

Hi Steve.

A quick update. I entered a new album in CDpedia today. Everything works fine but that are UI issues in the entry edit fields.

For example when text is entered in a field and you move into the next one, that text appears like it has shifted towards the bottom of the field hiding part of the text.

It's a small annoyance but not a show stopper. I think that this has to do with some of the deprecated APIs that have not yet been replaced or updated.

If I encounter any major issue, I add it to this thread.
