Criterion Collection Spine #s in DVDPedia

Post by Ted »

Is there a simpler way for adding the spine number of a Criterion Collection DVD or Blu-ray other then setting up a custom field for it in DVDPedia and looking up the spine # on the back of the box or look it up on their website e.g. Spine #140 - https://www.criterion.com/films/150-8-1-2 and then type or paste the number into the custom field?

That is a tough one, as any automated solution is going to need programing, to fetch the information.

You could modify a custom template to have a button that has the link https://www.criterion.com/search#stq=[key=title], it would then with one click (inside the DVDpedia browser) take you to the most relevant result to copy paste.

But it's probably just easier to refer to the wikipedia list (printed or digital) and copy from there.

Thank you - the Wikipedia list is much easier to quickly use than the Criterion website.
