An idea for the next big version release. We all have books, book series, DVD's, DVD series, Games and Music that we are awaiting the next new releases for and quite often we know approximately when these release dates are, (or even book signing event dates). Even if we don't have 'when' & 'where' information, we usually know the creators or the publishes website address.

It would be great that within the 'pedia's' we had a future notification function that utilises the macOS, iOS & tvOS 'Notifications' function. This could also be tied into 'Calendar' as an event call and the 'Location' function for release event addresses but created within the pedia's and automatically past onto Calendar, Locations & Notifications.

This way we could set a future event call within the pedia's against a Book, DVD, Game or CD to remind us to check to see if there has been a new release. This could be tied into the search plug-ins or at least have creators or publishes website address 'hot linked' included in the event call.

What do others think?

Sounds like a great idea. We already use that information in the release date field to create the banner that appears over the cover image, letting you know there is X number of days to the release. But you still have to go and click on the book to find this information. I like the idea of being reminded of upcoming release dates in the notification panel. Adding a new feature to add ticket to my list.
