Cover View background image / virtual shelves

Is there a way to select a user-defined background image rather than using a white to black colour spectrum? I'd specifically like to use wooden shelves. Its the only decent aspect of DL2 - DVDPedia knocks spots off DL2 on all bar the visual presentation. Much of that gap, for me at least, could be overcome by the use of a user defined image file as the cover view background.

Any ideas?

We have no plans to add a image background to the cover view, but thank you for the feedback. It could be an option for a future version, although it's not as simple as adding a static background as the cover sizes preference can change, so we would need to have at least two images the separator between the rows and one that can expand to do the background behind the items.
