Amazon is undoubtedly the best authority for completeness of inventory and such, but for DVDs and CDs I almost always prefer to use DeepDiscount.com. It's almost always cheaper by a significant amount.
Example:
When the mediocre Aeon Flux movie came out, they also re-released the awesome animated TV Series in a 3-disc boxed set. Most stores offered it at $40—including Amazon—but I got it on DeepDiscount for $20!!! Most comparisons like this will not be so dramatic, but even if discounts of this degree are the exception, it has been my experience that nearly all purchases are cheaper by some amount. Heck, it can't hurt!
Thank you for the information. We never tried out DeepDiscount.com before, we will take a look at it; One of the reason we like Amazon so much is they have a search API that makes Amazon so convenient and ubiquitous.
