[Bookpedia] Editing the amazon.fr filter

Hi,

is there a way to edit or change your amazon.fr filter. When I get the amazon information about a book, we get the Customer Reviews (Commentaires en ligne) instead of Editorial Reviews (Description du produit).

I tried to find the amazon. fr file into the BookPedia folder, but nothing.

We look for the editorial review when available otherwise we look for the most helpful customer review. Amazon will not provide the editorial reviews at times for reasons of copyright; they weren't written by Amazon. However we will take a look at the France site specifically in case they are sending the editorial review under another tag that does not match the Amazon.com one.

Hi,
Amazon actually provide editorial review (Description du produit Présentation de l'éditeur) onto their fench site. For example, look at this page : http://www.amazon.fr/gp/product/2707150 ... 94-2821806 and you will see this editorial review.

As you can see the Présentation de l'éditeur is not part of the information. It could be as I mentioned before that due to copyright issues that can't send that information or we have to wait for Amazon France to update their web services and include this information.
