syncing to a new Mac

Hi, I am trying to sync pocketpedia library on my iPhone to my new Mac's bookpedia. It asks to sync, I click allow and then nothing happens. I did verify the the local network was checked (and it was). Advice would be appreciated. Thank you.

As with anything these days it pays to search so it is with these forums.

As per this post: Sync issue

On all your iDevices visit “Settings” and then look for “Pocketpedia”. There will be a "local network” access checkbox make sure it’s checked so that Pocketpedia has access to receive data on the local network. You might have to relaunch Pocketpedia by swiping up in the app picker, that is initiated by swiping up from the bottom edge of the screen."

Same Issue on my MacBook Air M1 with 12.0.1.
I followed the steps on the iPhone and press sync. The Allow button popup and I press it.
Nothing happens after that.

Please carry the above instructions. Then reboot your phone and iMac. Then ensure both are connected to the same home network.

Yes, I already did this but still the same issue.
Is Gamepedia generation some log to look into? Maybe it is writing error log, but that's what you should know

Thank you for the information.

The question remains why does the sync stop working after I upgraded to MacOS 12.0.1 and IOS 15. Before that it was working normally. I'm starting to get the feeling that the problem is with me rather than with the software. And if you yourself have no idea how can I help with this.
