cost for upgrades to 6.0?

I have 5.0 versions of DVDpedia and Bookpedia.

I see the message about the new version being available when I start the app, but I can't find any info on the main site or here in the forum about whether there's a cost to upgrade from 5.x to 6.x.

Is there a cost?

6.0 is a free upgrade to all 5.0 Pedia users.

Once you have installed version 6 please give the beta's ago: they are all very stable and usable. You can download them from here: https://bruji.com/beta/

Also ensure you make a backup of your database before any updates. Your database can be found here: ~/Library/Application Support/[name of the Pedia program]
