Bug: Field edit in main window reverts when Edit window open

Double-click one of the items in the library. With the edit window open, go back to the library and edit the item's title to something different. Now click OK on the Edit window. You will notice the edit you made to the item in the library gets reverted back to what it was before. Looks like the Edit window is not aware when a change is made directly in the library window.

Thank you, that is a bug that has always existed but not often encountered. I have made it better by reloading the edit window if open and the same entry is being edited in the list view. However, since there could be unsaved data in the edit window, there has to be a choice between one set of data or the other. I tried merging it but can cause issues as well as interrupting the workflow with a message, as most users would not expect the message to be coming from unsaved changes in the edit window.

Hopefully the new version will be less confusing and nobody will run into this new very edge case bug. Thank you for the details.
