Acces to z3950 French National Library

Hi!
I tried to use BookPedia 4.2.2 to access with the z3950 feature to the French National Library (BNF) but they need a user and password. Where to add these in the fields provided by BookPedia z3950 Server item. But I never able to find any title. Do you have a tips to check the connection to the server?

Could you help me to set that?

Here are the parameters :

It set my list to
Name : Catalogue Bn-Opale plus

Server : z3950.bnf.fr:2211/TOUT-ANA1-UTF8

Record (format) : UNIMARC

Encoding :UTF8

You do have all the parameters correct, including the port number that is important; unfortunately, Bookpedia does not yet have the ability to log into z39.50 servers that require a password. The server returns no results as the password can not be provided.

Hi, sorry for re-uping an old thread but I'd like to know if it is now possible to log into z39.50 servers that require a password or if you plan to add this very useful feature in a next release (and when).

Unfortunately it's proving difficult to integrate z39.50 servers that require a password, such as the French National Library. It's still on our list for the future but I cannot give you a timeline when it will be integrated.

Thanks for bringing this back up but Bookpedia isn't able to connect to z39.50 servers that require a password. It's still on our to-do list but it's not a priority at this point.
