AppleTV and DVDpedia

Dear All,

I like to Iport my DVDs with my imac and copy these (Video_TS-Files) to the Network-Storage.
Í will link these files with the DVDpedia-Database.

Please see the Picture. Is this possible?

Or is it better to use a mac mini with HDMI Cable, FrontRow and external 2TB-Harddrive?
But whats with the movies in the bedroom?
