import files from disk: movieTitle.avi

I'd like to automatically import 5,000 files with format "movieTitle.avi".
I could do that one by one, but the process looks easy to automate. So clearly this could be a useful feature. Nowadays many people store their collection on 700Mb files.

I'm new to dvdpedia and also wondering if there is a way to do this using AppleScript.

With the latest beta version you can drag .avi files over the dock icon for DVDpedia to import, other movie files can be dragged as well.
