Potential for Cross-Platform Support?
With Apple's push for native cross-platform app development with the newer versions of SwiftUI and the M1 processors, is there any chance that the Pedias (in my case specifically Bookpedia) will become available on iPadOS? I now use iPad exclusively so it's rather annoying having to constantly dig o...

Modifying Image in Pocketpedia?
Is it not possible to change the image of an entry directly in Pocketpedia on iPad OS? I’ve been using Bookpedia for a few years now, and recently have converted from MacBook to iPad until I can buy a next generation MacBook. I’ve been able to add new entries, and although I lack the features of the...

Re: Goodreads Data Search/Scraping?
Hey! Just wanted to check in and see if any progress has been made on this front? I'm REALLY loving the app itself, but I hate having to use my own Python app to scrape the data from Goodreads and then manually add books on Bookpedia (The default searches don't get all the correct info 99% of the ti...

Re: Goodreads Data Search/Scraping?
Conor, I wrote a simple Python script that takes an ISBN input and gets the Goodreads book ID, and then passes that to another function that will parse the metadata from that ID and put it into a dictionary using Bookpedia's tags. The variable "metadata" in the main function is the final o...

Re: Goodreads Data Search/Scraping?
I will definitely get working on that over the next couple days. I think together we can definitely create something useful! So, what would you need from me specifically? Just the code for the two functions, or a working .py script that can be run independently?

Goodreads Data Search/Scraping?
Hi all! I get all of my book metadata from Goodreads, but it's not one of the defaults on Bookpedia. I attempted to create a search plugin to do so...but my coding experience is in Python (and limited) and I have absolutely no idea what I'm doing in cocoa. I have an API key (you can get one free fro...

Re: Ridiculously frequent crashes, and duplicate data retrev
I've completely deleted my database and started fresh with a new csv export from Calibre. I used Calibre to scrape all the data first and then transferred everything to Bookpedia. So, as of right now, my database is complete and functional and therefore I can't replicate the crashes (I don't want to...

Ridiculously frequent crashes, and duplicate data retrevial.
So, I recently went 'all in' with Bookpedia and transferred my 2,000+ book collection from Calibre. I think the features of this program will allow me to do everything I want in a cataloging software...however I'm pretty disappointed in a few things and hopefully they can be rectified. 1. Freezing.....
