file open, file close

After poking around a bit I didn't find that his hasn't been raised before, but I'm pretty sure it has. I've gotten into so much trouble trying to manage more than one database. I would really like the Pedias to have the traditional FIle Open, and File Close, so that you can have more than one Book,...

iPad/Phone display templates

In Pocketpedia:

Composer is not included in the search of your library?

Also, is it possible to create a template for the list on the left so that the composer displays? I would like Composer, Title, Performer, or at least Title, Composer, Performer.

Thanks,
David

Re: reverting from 5.0 (bad) to 4.68 (good)

Thanks for this information. I've downgraded to 4.68 so that my website and smart collections still work.

I donate my $12 upgrade cost to fund 5.x with the feature to allow a customer to chose whether they want the comma split or not!

Thanks again

reverting from 5.0 (bad) to 4.68 (good)

I want to revert to CDPedia 4.68 since splitting up fields on the comma has destroyed my database, my smart collections, and my web export.

Could you post detailed instructions on how to do this?

Thanks,
David

make the comma split optional

Since this "feature" has messed up my database, my smart playlists, and my web export, I would like to request you make it optional whether you want your database fields split based on a comma.

Thanks,
David

Re: 5.0. Names in my DB are now a mess

Sorry, I neglected to say that I'm using CDpedia and the field that is messed up is the Composer field. I actually tried what you suggested having the database rebuilt, but CDpedia didn't ask me any questions about how I wanted names treated. Is there a fix for my Composer names?

Thank you,
David

5.0. Names in my DB are now a mess

lastname, firstname is a standard way to enter names and I've entered most names in my database in just that way. They are all now split as if they were two different people. When I try to enter a name in a new entry, it won't let me enter it in that standard way because it thinks George and Gershwi...

search and replace in entire database

Is there a way to do a search / find / replace throughout the entire database? For example, I want to replace every instance of Bjork with Björk no matter what field her name appears in.

Thanks,
David

CDPedia: duplicating listings and capacity

I think this app is great. I have two questions. I have 80% classical music and I like to catalog each piece on the CD so the composer listing shows each work I have a recording of. (If there are more than four or five works on the CD I don't do this, depending on how important they are to me). I se...
