Re: PocketPedia won't sync
Yeah..I've tried just about everything I can think of. I've reinstalled everything and I'm using the latest versions. I'm on a Powerbook G4 running 10.5.4.

Re: PocketPedia won't sync
Looked at the other thread and this one. Can't get the sync button in Pocketpedia. Firewall is turned off and everything is wide open. Tried going directly to my Powerbook (so no router in between) and doesn't work.

Tried it
I've already tried Bento and here are a few observations: 1) I like the idea of Bento accessing iCal & Address book info. This is what Apple intended when they kept those applications separate (unlike Entourage) in order to allow other applications access those pieces of information distinctly. ...

Bento response?
Now that Filemaker has released Bento, is there any thought given to a general utility database? http://www.filemaker.com/products/bento/features.html It's a very promising database program for the average person and will likely poach sales from the Pedias. Create a simplified version of the Pedias ...

Hmmm
On second thought, maybe just an export to XML and use AJAX.

I like this
I also like this idea and even began trying to implement it, but got busy with other projects. Ideally, you could enter your MySQL login/password in the preferences and then DVDpedia would connect and upload data into your existing table. The PHP templates wouldn't change at all whenever you updated...

Been working on it
I've been working on getting my collection on to my Palm Treo. Unfortunately, it's a pretty complex task. DVDpedia can export to TXT, CSV, or XML, which can be imported into a Palm-based (or Symbian) database application. Forget about thumbnails/covers so basically you've got a list. Personally, I h...

Me too
I had also expressed interest in this feature. It would be nice to close the drawer and cover below the collections just to see a cover icon in a column to the left of the DVD title. As a bonus, you could add the scroll bar on the bottom to adjust the cover sizes the same way the cover view works an...

Checking in
I've been looking into this since I just got a Treo 650 and there are limited options for Palm database software which supports image containers. So far, the best option is FileMaker Mobile but getting images and info out of DVDpedia into Filemaker is a drag. I can export as a CSV fine but I want al...

So stop wasting time and get to it!
From the way you explained it, it sounds like the longer you wait, the more difficult it will be to do...is that right?

Box sets
Now that U2's box set has been released on iTunes, it shows an easy way to show albums and songs in a single list using the "flip triangle". Can the same be done with DVDpedia with box sets like the 4 DVD Alien Quadrilogy or the Indiana Jones set, etc?
Thanks!
Thanks!

Is there a possibility of trailer integration with another source besides rottentomatoe?
